Every single member of our team has children, and like all parents, we want the best for them. That’s what led us to create KitSmart – a brand focused on high-quality, natural, and durable furniture for kids.

Why We Chose Natural Materials

We’ve all seen the cheap, flimsy furniture that doesn’t last, made from questionable materials. That was never an option for us. We wanted something solid, safe, and sustainable – furniture that could withstand the chaos of childhood and still be passed down. That’s why we chose pure New Zealand pine and pressed birch with a safe, easy-to-clean finish.

Another important part of our journey was keeping production local. We live in New Zealand, and we love this country. Supporting local craftsmanship and keeping jobs within our community felt like the right thing to do. Instead of importing mass-produced furniture, we decided to create something better – high-quality, thoughtfully designed kids’ beds that parents can trust.
