Refund policy

We want you to love your KitSmart furniture!

If you change your mind, you have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return.

To qualify, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and you’ll need your receipt or proof of purchase. A 10% restocking fee applies for packaged items, and 30–50% for unpacked items, depending on their condition.  

To arrange a return, just email us at info@kitsmart.co.nz. Once your return is approved, we’ll help organise the shipping details together. Please don’t send items back without checking in first, as we can’t accept unapproved returns.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if any item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We’ll review the issue promptly and do our best to make it right.  

Exceptions / Non-Refundable Items

Some products cannot be returned, including custom-made items (such as special orders or personalised products) and unpacked mattresses. If you’re unsure about your item, please contact us. We’re happy to help clarify before you purchase or return.  

Please note that sale items are non-refundable.  

 

Refunds

 Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know whether a refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
